Worship Fusion

Welcome to Worship Fusion, please follow the videos and text which will lead you through worship.

A prayer of adoration

Gracious God, you are the rock of our lives.

Your strength sustains us.

Your power delivers us.

Your mercy brings forgiveness to us.

We come to you in adoration,

praising you that our whole life is in your hands –

held, sustained, protected.

Glory be to you, merciful Lord,

glory, honour, majesty and worship,

in the name of your Son, our redeemer.

Amen.

Prayer of Thanksgiving

A prayer of confession

Forgive us, loving Lord, that we have strayed from your way.

Forgive us for the times our lives have not been shaped by

your truth.

Forgive us for denying your life in us and in others,

by the way we have lived.

In the name of Jesus, the way, the truth and the life, we pray.

Amen.

Palm Story Activity

We have often looked back at ways we have seen God in our lives during Worship Fusion, today we want you to look back at the really recent past and think where you’ve seen God in your lives during the last 6 to 10 weeks.

1 Peter 3:15-18 The Message (MSG)
...Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why you’re living the way you are, and always with the utmost courtesy. Keep a clear conscience before God so that when people throw mud at you, none of it will stick...

It is said that there has been a considerable increase in people looking for hope, prayer guidance, Church services and God on the internet during lockdown. Use this activity to reflect on how your ‘God Story’ has changed during lockdown.

The Lords Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy Name,

thy kingdom come,

thy will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those

who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory,

for ever and ever. Amen.

The UK Blessing

Churches around the UK have come together at this time to sing a blessing over the nation and have posted a video on YouTube which you can watch here. Here are some of the words…

The Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Amen

We pray a blessing, manna rain down from Heaven. This isn’t second guessing, we know that we are protected. May the peace that surpasses all understanding be our message. Grace and favour’s in Your nature in Your essence.

May His favour be upon you and a thousand generations of your family and your children and their children and their children…

May His presence go before you and behind you and beside you. All around you and within you, He is with you, He is with you.

In the morning, in the evening, in your coming and your going, in your weeping and rejoicing he is for you, he is for you.

Amen

Congratulations, you've done such a great job. And one of the members at Ilkeston Methodist Church asked that I tell you had she appreciated your service.
